Thinking about buying a new bike? You can get an awful lot for £6k and as the picture shows quite a range of styles. Choices, choices...
We will be attending the Alex George Bike Night next to the H Cafe in Berinsfield. This is held every Monday night and we will be providing Free ride outs for the Enhanced Rider Scheme and a Rolling Road for novices to try a geared motorcycle safely. In addition there are all the normal attractions of the Bike Night.
If you ever wondered if there is truth behind the statement that riding to work is cheaper than driving read the statistics below. On average you will save slightly over £3,000/year by riding to work, and that is without taking into acoount toll charges, congestion zones or parking fees all of which make motorcyling significantly cheaper. There is also a considerable time saving as well which is harder to quantify but still undeniably true.
On our website we have 210 pictures of ex-student’s bikes (as well as hundreds more in our office), and taking a quick sample of these bikes reveals the following:
Total motorcycles: 210
Total number of different models: 119
Average engine size: 676cc
For Spring 2013 (running until the end of March) we have a Special Offer on all full licence courses that are booked during the offer period. The course can take place after the offer dates and cover Restricted A2 and Direct Access Scheme (DAS) licences. This sees substantial discounts on the normal course prices. Follow the Step-by-Step Guide to find out how much your course will cost.
CBT - Experienced
To cater for all the people that simply want to renew their CBT every two years rather than go through a full licence course we have introduced a new CBT. This course is only for people who have a current CBT certificate. We will be charging a flat rate of £85.00 with or without motorcycle/moped hire.
Due to the changes introduced by the 3rd EU Driving Licence Directive (3DLD) we have substantially altered our website and courses to reflect these changes. There are now new courses with different and improved structures which means better preparation for our students. In addition they have been streamlined to make the process of booking easier.
The 3rd European Licencing Directive (3DLD) comes into effect in 12 months time. This is going to have a considerable effect on many people wishing to have a full motorcycle licence from that date. Please follow this link to read more about what will change and who it will effect. Thanks to our friends at MCIA for the table shown below.
