CBT/Mod Skills day 1 On-Line Booking

Click here to book a CBT/Mod Skills day 1 on-line - This is course for people who are at least 19 years old with previous experience of riding a motorcycleSuzuki Gladius (i.e. you can already control a 125cc to a reasonable standard) ,who want to gain a full licence - A2 Restricted Licence or Direct Access Scheme (DAS). It is a normal CBT but will include training for the Module 1 Motorcycle Test. You will be introduced to the difference between small and large motorcycles, and become accustomed to the high and slow speed control required by a larger motorcycle. Most of the day will be taken up doing the CBT, but some the time in the afternoon will cover the practise needed for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1. Takes a whole day. Roadrider On-Line BookingHonda CG 125

Click here to book a Roadrider on-line - This course is ideal for those taking a full licence (A2 Restricted Licence or Direct Access Scheme) and have only done the CBT on a geared motorcycle. You must be at least 19 years old. This day is designed to improve machine controls as well as cover much more road riding than took place during the CBT. The day will also start preparation for the slow manoeuvres that are done during the Motorcycle Test - Module 1, as well as the riding skills needed for the Motorcycle Test - Module 2. It is a structured course that will explain, demonstrate and practise hill starts, left & right turns, roundabouts, one way streets, dual carriageways etc. Takes a whole day. Mod Skills day 1 On-Line BookingSuzuki GladiusHonda CBF500

Click here to book a Mod Skills day 1 on-line - This first day of tow or three days of training on a 400/600cc motorcycle for those wishing to take an A2 Restricted Licence or the Direct Access Scheme. You must be at least 19 years old. On this day you will be introduced to the difference between small and large motorcycles, and become accustomed to the high and slow speed control required by a larger motorcycle. Half of the day will be road riding, but some the time in the afternoon will cover the practise needed for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1 including a mock test. Mod Skills day 2 On-Line BookingSuzuki GladiusHonda CBF500

Click here to book a Mod Skills day 2 on-line - For those taking the A2 Restricted Licence or Direct Access Scheme this is the second day of training on a larger 400/600cc motorcycle. You must be at least 19 years old. During the course of this day you will take your Module 1 Motorcycle Test in the morning (this takes about 15 minutes); there may be be a small amount of extra time to practise beforehand. However, the bulk of the day is focused on passing your Module 2 Motorcycle Test. This course takes an entire day and ideally wants to be 3 working days before your Mod Skills day 3 and Module 2 Motorcycle Test. Those taking a 2 Day course will skip this day.

Click here to book a Theory Test on-line - Before taking a Motorcycle Test you must take the Theory Test for a motorcycle. This is one hour of your time. Ideally you will want to do this at least 3 working days before your Module 1 Motorcycle Test, however, the earlier the better. Module 1 Motorcycle Test On-Line BookingSuzuki GladiusHonda CBF500

Click here to book a Module 1 Motorcycle Test on-line - This is the off-road part of the Motorcycle Test. It takes 15 minutes and is done at the DVSA's Multi-Purpose Test Centre. It covers all the manoeuvres such as the emergency stop, U-turn, figure of eight, etc. You must have done a Mod Skills day 1 course and be at least 19 years old. Most people will do this during their Mod Skills day 2 training, unless you are doing a 2 Day course in which it will either be on a separate day or during your Mod Skills day 3. You must hold both a valid CBT and Motorcycle Theory Test certificate to take the Module 1. To find out more information see Motorcycle Test and Module 1 in our glossary.

Mod Skills day 3 On-Line BookingSuzuki GladiusHonda CBF500

Click here to book a Mod Skills day 3 on-line - This is the final day of training for those taking a full licence - A2 Restricted Licence or the Direct Access Scheme. You must be at least 19 years old and have already passed your CBT, Theory Test and Module 1 (except some of those doing a 2 Day course in which case the Module 1 may be on this day as well). The course has an earlier start time than normal and has the Module 2 Motorcycle Test in the afternoon. All the training will be on the road and will focus entirely on preparing for the test. Please make sure you also book your Module 2 test for the same day. Ideally this day wants to be at least three working days after your Module 1 Motorcycle Test.

Module 2 Motorcycle Test On-Line BookingSuzuki GladiusHonda CBF500

Click here to book a Module 2 Motorcycle Test on-line - This is where it all ends! The Module 2 is the road riding part of the test and is done from a DVSA Test Centre with an examiner. The test takes about 40 minutes and covers about 7 to 10 miles of riding through varied situations and speed limits. You must book this for the same day as your Mod Skills day 3 which in most cases will be a week day. You must hold a valid CBT, Motorcycle Theory Test and Module 1 certificate and be at least 19 years old to take the Module 2.
