2 Day Course – A2 (Restricted Licence) Lightning Motorcycle Training restricted licence courses

You must have already taken CBT and be a very experienced rider and subject to a free one-hour assessment lesson. The first day consists of teaching you what is required of you for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. On the final day you will take a mock test, culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price). The training on the road on day one and two will prepare you for Motorcycle Test - Module 2.

3 Day Course – A2 (Restricted Licence)

Again this is for a very experienced rider, who also needs to be put through the formality of the CBT - again subject to a free assessment lesson. The first day will be your CBT. The second day (Roadrider 1) is polishing up your road riding skills, as well as preparing you for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. The third day (Roadrider 2) is Motorcycle Test - Module 2 preparation day. On the final day you will take a mock test, culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price).

4 Day Course – A2 (Restricted Licence)

Aimed at somebody with a CBT, but with limited experience. Designed to improve your road riding skills and boost confidence the course will take you through stages to your tests. The first two days are Refreshers, while the third day will cover preparation for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1 and the final day preparation for the Motorcycle Test - Module 2. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. On the final day you will take a mock test, culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price).

5 Day Course – A2 (Restricted Licence)

This course is suitable for a novice rider. Your Theory Test is included in the price. First day will begin with CBT, where we would leave a gap of approximately one-week. This is just in case you need further practice – or to repeat your CBT. The second and third days will improve your road riding skills and handling of the motorcycle; these are Refresher days. The fourth day is the Roadrider 1 which will cover preparation for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1, while the fifth day will cover preparation for the Motorcycle Test - Module 2. We have large training areas where we can practice full speed Module 1 manoeuvres. On the final day you will take a mock test, culminating in your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 in the morning and your Motorcycle Test - Module 2 in the afternoon (or on a morning three working days later - same price).

Prices include tuition, CBT, motorcycle hire, fuel, insurance and equipment.

Note: For all courses you will need to bring with you your valid UK driving/provisional licence and a passport (or other photographic ID – please ask for details) and your theory test pass certificate.

Guaranteed Pass Scheme.

All our courses offer a Guaranteed Pass Scheme, which means that if you do not pass your Motorcycle Test - Module 1 or 2, we make a priority of getting you another test as early as the law allows. Further training is done at our normal daily rate with a 25% discount. While we will do our best to get you another test as quickly as possible please bear in mind that you must wait 10 working days by law before you can retake the Motorcycle Test - Module 2 and three working days for the Motorcycle Test - Module 1. 9 out 10 people who have taken a test through Lightning Motorcycle Training now hold a full licence.
